Everyone deserves clean clothes
Laundry Love comes alongside those who are struggling financially by assisting them with laundry. Laundry Love has partnered with North Street Coin-Op, Cathedral of the Beloved, St. Stephens Episcopal Church and Zion Lutheran Church in cleaning clothes and linens of low-income or no-income families and individuals. We see the laundromat as a place where strangers become friends, people are known by name, hope is hustled, and the worth of every human being is acknowledged and celebrated. Laundry soap is provided with use of machines regularly throughout the month as people make appointments with North St. Coin Op.
Prior to the pandemic, this was an on-site event. For safety reasons we needed to pivot. We hope to have in person gatherings at some point. This date/schedule has not yet been specified.
