Since 2014, Cathedral of the Belovedhas openly, safely and warmly welcomed all who are interested to congregate for a Sunday service at 2:00 p.m.
On Sunday afternoons, you are invited to come as you are to be seen and welcomed in your joy and in your struggle, in your questions and in your faith. We are each a beloved child of God, made in God's image. Please join us as we celebrate this wonder each week.
A meal will be provided at the conclusion of the Sunday service each week.
Each month we gather to re-connect with our hearts, to the love that flows freely within, and all the ways that love gets blocked. To connect with the love that flows within our neighbor and our shared struggle to let it flow in the ways that lead to a transformed life, for ourselves and our world. This evening, this gathering is a sacred pause in the midst of all that consumes to remember and be re-membered as we connect again to the divine, the giver of life, and the source of all that is.
Last Thursday of each month 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
The Laundry Love initiative is an opportunity to come alongside people who are struggling financially by assisting them with their laundry. Laundry Love has partnered with North Street Coin-Op, Cathedral of the Beloved, St. Stephens Episcopal Church and Zion Lutheran Church in cleaning clothes and linens of low-income or no-income families and individuals. We see the laundromat as a place where strangers become friends, people are known by name, hope is hustled, and the worth of every human being is acknowledged and celebrated. Laundry soap is provided with use of machines from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the last Thursday of each month. Due to the holidays, November & December's Laundry Love are scheduled for the second to last Thursday.
